梳头有大学问

每天梳头是一件极为重要的事。为什么古人总是说要天天梳头?因为梳头实际上就是在梳经络。

有人说梳头多了,容易损伤毛囊,那咱们把指甲剪平了,用10个手指肚来梳,这样怎么梳都损伤不了毛囊,而且还很有力量。您看头的侧面全是胆经,有20多个穴位,您都不用找,就这么一梳,哪块有点疼,就证明哪块有阻塞,您就反复地揉它,不知道那个穴叫什么名字没关系。因为您一梳头,胆经上的 20多个穴位就全部“一网打尽”了。

开始梳头的时候,您会发现,长期头痛或者胆囊不好、有乳腺增生这些胆经阻塞方面问题的人,头上一定有相应的阻滞点。经络是连着的,下面有堵的地方,它上面也堵。所以您这么一梳,就会发觉某处有疼的地方,用大拇指一点一揉,会发现里面还有一些结节、疙瘩的东西,这时,您一定要把这个东西揉开了。

每天梳头多长时间为好呢?坚持每天300次就非常好了。有人说我有的是时间,梳3000次怎么样?那当然更好。头不怕多梳,您就记住,梳头好处大了。头为诸阳之会,所有的气血都是奔着头上来的,头就怕堵住了,一堵住什么心血管疾病、脑梗塞之类的问题就全来了。您把头一梳,头部一清爽,这些问题就全解决了。所以梳头是能消百病的妙法。

有人说:“我不敢梳头,因为头发本来就少,还老掉”。我说:“越是这样的人,越得多梳。为什么?您别怕掉头发,因为,凡是用手指肚一梳就掉的头发,它根本就是在头上面浮搁着呢!您不动它,睡觉起来后也是一床,您不如干脆先给它弄下来就完了,剩下的头发就个个都是精英了。这就跟种花似的,您得把那些枯叶剪下去,别让它也跟着一块吸收营养,最后剩下的那些才是茁壮的。”

还有的人说:“我也不敢梳头,我一梳头就白花花的跟下雪似的,全是头皮屑,没法梳。”他觉得越梳头皮屑越多。其实,如果能坚持每天梳头至少300次,连着梳1周,您再梳的时候就会发现已经没什么“雪花”了,而且梳完以后会看到满手都是油污污的。这说明您把堵塞在毛孔上的这些黑油(中医讲的湿气、痰浊)给梳出来了,这样当然就不长头皮屑了。

梳头不但可以治疗脱发,还能治疗白发和头发无光泽。当头发浓密起来后,就证明您的气血越来越足,肝肾的功能提高了。另外,有的时候我们想补补肝、补补肾,但往往直接补不到,效力达不到这个地方,怎么办呢?“诸病于内,必形于外”,人体的里面和外面是有通路的。谁是它的通路?头部就是它的通路。您经常梳梳头,就跟肝肾通上了。人不可能头发很浓密而肝肾却很弱,这是绝不可能的。头发浓密了,肝肾的功能也就提高了,这是一体的两面,只要提高一方面,另一方面就提高了。

梳头时,除了头两侧,正面也要全梳。头的正面是膀胱经,是专门抵御风寒的。有的人经常容易感冒,就是风寒老进来的原因。您把膀胱经多梳梳,就不容易患感冒了。还有的人总觉得头晕,脑供血不足,什么原因?是督脉堵塞住了。督脉这条中间线,下至尾骨,与肾经相通,上行巅顶百会穴,如果时时保持通畅的话,不但您不会得老年痴呆,而且会越梳越精神。

所以梳头应该把头部全梳一遍,每天梳得越多越好。

别小看梳头这个动作,靠它就能打通人体的很多经络,是属于给身体打地基的。当打通经络后,再集中看看哪个穴位有问题,特意去揉一揉,这就是为身体添砖加瓦了。

97 years old doctor & this is what he has to say....

At the age of 97 years and 4 months, Shigeaki Hinohara is one of the world's longest-serving physicians and educators. Hinohara's magic touch is legendary: Since 1941 he has been healing patients at St. Luke's International Hospital in Tokyo and teaching at St. Luke's College of Nursing. After World War II, he envisioned a world-class hospital and college springing from the ruins of Tokyo; thanks to his pioneering spirit and business savvy, the doctor turned these institutions into the nation's top medical facility and nursing school. Today he serves as chairman of the board of trustees at both organizations. Always willing to try new things, he has published around 150 books since his 75th birthday, including one "Living Long, Living Good" that has sold more than 1.2 million copies. As the founder of the New Elderly Movement, Hinohara encourages others to live a long and happy life, a quest in which no role model is better than the doctor himself.


Energy comes from feeling good, not from eating well or sleeping a lot. We all remember how as children, when we were having fun, we often forgot to eat or sleep. I believe that we can keep that attitude as adults, too. It's best not to tire the body with too many rules such as lunchtime and bedtime.

All people who live long regardless of nationality, race or gender share one thing in common: None are overweight... For breakfast I drink coffee, a glass of milk and some orange juice with a tablespoon of olive oil in it. Olive oil is great for the arteries and keeps my skin healthy. Lunch is milk and a few cookies, or nothing when I am too busy to eat. I never get hungry because I focus on my work.. Dinner is veggies, a bit of fish and rice, and, twice a week, 100 grams of lean meat..

Always plan ahead. My schedule book is already full until 2014, with lectures and my usual hospital work. In 2016 I'll have some fun, though: I plan to attend the Tokyo Olympics!

There is no need to ever retire, but if one must, it should be a lot later than 65. The current retirement age was set at 65 half a century ago, when the average life-expectancy in Japan was 68 years and only 125 Japanese were over 100 years old. Today, Japanese women live to be around 86 and men 80, and we have 36,000 centenarians in our country. In 20 years we will have about 50,000 people over the age of 100...

Share what you know. I give 150 lectures a year, some for 100 elementary-school children, others for 4,500 business people. I usually speak for 60 to 90 minutes, standing, to stay strong.

When a doctor recommends you take a test or have some surgery, ask whether the doctor would suggest that his or her spouse or children go through such a procedure. Contrary to popular belief, doctors can't cure everyone. So why cause unnecessary pain with surgery I think music and animal therapy can help more than most doctors imagine.

To stay healthy, always take the stairs and carry your own stuff. I take two stairs at a time, to get my muscles moving.

My inspiration is Robert Browning's poem "Abt Vogler." My father used to read it to me. It encourages us to make big art, not small scribbles. It says to try to draw a circle so huge that there is no way we can finish it while we are alive. All we see is an arch; the rest is beyond our vision but it is there in the distance.

Pain is mysterious, and having fun is the best way to forget it. If a child has a toothache, and you start playing a game together, he or she immediately forgets the pain. Hospitals must cater to the basic need of patients: We all want to have fun. At St. Luke's we have music and animal therapies, and art classes.

Don't be crazy about amassing material things. Remember: You don't know when your number is up, and you can't take it with you to the next place.

Hospitals must be designed and prepared for major disasters, and they must accept every patient who appears at their doors. We designed St.... Luke's so we can operate anywhere: in the basement, in the corridors, in the chapel. Most people thought I was crazy to prepare for a catastrophe, but on March 20, 1995, I was unfortunately proven right when members of the Aum Shinrikyu religious cult launched a terrorist attack in the Tokyo subway. We accepted 740 victims and in two hours figured out that it was sarin gas that had hit them. Sadly we lost one person, but we saved 739 lives.

Science alone can't cure or help people. Science lumps us all together, but illness is individual. Each person is unique, and diseases are connected to their hearts. To know the illness and help people, we need liberal and visual arts, not just medical ones.

Life is filled with incidents. On March 31, 1970, when I was 59 years old, I boarded the Yodogo, a flight from Tokyo to Fukuoka. It was a beautiful sunny morning, and as Mount Fuji came into sight, the plane was hijacked by the Japanese Communist League-Red Army Faction. I spent the next four days handcuffed to my seat in 40-degree heat. As a doctor, I looked at it all as an experiment and was amazed at how the body slowed down in a crisis.

Find a role model and aim to achieve even more than they could ever do. My father went to the United States in 1900 to study at DukeUniversity in North Carolina. He was a pioneer and one of my heroes. Later I found a few more life guides, and when I am stuck, I ask myself how they would deal with the problem.

It's wonderful to live long. Until one is 60 years old, it is easy to work for one's family and to achieve one's goals. But in our later years, we should strive to contribute to society. Since the age of 65, I have worked as a volunteer. I still put in 18 hours seven days a week and love every minute of it.

靜思語

說話

有時候,你被人誤解,自己不想爭辯,所以選擇沈默。
本來就不是所有的人都得了解自己,因此你認為不必對全世界喊話。

卻也有時候,你被最愛的人誤解,自己難過到不想爭辯,也只有選擇沈默。
全世界都可以不懂你,但他應該懂,若他竟然不能懂,還有什麼話可說?

那麼,不想說話,就不說吧,在多說無益的時候,也許沈默就是最好的解釋。

以退為進,以默為辯。



至少要平靜

在你跌入人生谷底的時候,身旁的人都告訴你:要堅強,而且要快樂。
堅強是絕對需要的,但是快樂?在這種情形下,恐怕是太為難你了。

畢竟,誰能在跌得頭破血流的時候還覺得高興?
但是至少可以做到平靜。平靜地看待這件事,平靜地把其他該處理的事處理好。

平靜,沒有快樂,也沒有不快樂。能做到這一點,你就已經有了復元的能量。

靜則明,動則昏。



彎腰

和別人發生意見上的紛歧,甚至造成言語上的衝突,所以你悶悶不樂,因為你覺得都
是別人惡意。

別再耿耿於懷了,回家去擦地板吧。
拎一塊抹布,彎下腰,雙膝著地,把你面前這張地板的每個角落來回擦拭乾淨。

然後重新省思自己在那場衝突,所說過的每一句話。
現在,你發現自己其實也有不對的地方,是不是?
你漸漸
心平氣和了,是不是?

有時候你必須學習彎腰,因為這個動作可以讓自己謙卑。
勞動身體的同時,你也擦亮了自己的心緒。
而且,還擁有了一張光潔的地板呢。這是你的另一個收穫。

謙卑中求,恭敬中求,無私中求。



單純

因為思慮過多,所以你常常把自己的人生複雜化了。
明明是活在現在,卻總是念念不忘著過去,又憂心忡忡著未來;
堅持攜帶著過去、未來與現在同行,你的人生當然拖泥帶水。

單純是一種恩寵狀態。
單純地以皮膚感受天氣的變化,
單純地以鼻腔品嘗雨後的草香,
單純地以眼睛統攝遠山近景。

單純地活在當下。而當下其實無所謂是非真假。
既然沒有是非,就不必思慮;
沒有真假,就無須念念不忘又憂心忡忡。

無是非真假,不就像在做夢一樣了嗎?
就單純地把自己的人生當成夢境去執行吧。

用單純的心,處理複雜的事。



別浪費了

今天的你又不開心了,因為又有人在言語間刺傷了你。

你不喜歡吵架,所以你離開;
可是你只是離開了那,卻沒有離開被那人傷害的情境,因此你愈想愈生氣。

愈有氣,你就愈沒有力氣去理會別的事情,
許多更該用心去做去想去處理的事件,
就在你漫天漫地的心煩意亂之中,
被輕忽被漠視被省略了。

因為,你只是一心一意地在生氣。
在情緒上做文章,這是對自己的浪費,而且是很壞的浪費。

畢竟,生氣也是要花力氣的,而且,生氣一定傷
元氣
所以,聰明的你,別讓情緒控制了你,
當你又要生氣之前,不妨輕聲地提醒自己一句:別浪費了。

有些人常起煩惱,
因為別人一句無心的話,他卻有意的接受。



悄悄

曾經有一段時間,你心情低落,甚至懶得拉開窗簾,看著窗外的陽光。
因此你當然也忘了,去看看窗台上那一盆每天都需要喝水的瑪格麗特。

不知過了多久,總算有一天,你度過了心情的低潮,同時也想起了你的瑪格麗特。
天啊,可憐的花,她還活著嗎?你戰戰兢兢地拉開窗簾,卻見她迎風招搖,花顏可掬。

原來在過去的這段日子裡,你雖然忘了餵她喝水,老天卻沒忘了以雨露眷顧她呢。

許多事物悄悄地在你的視線之外進行,而且悄悄地安排好了它們自己。
天生萬物,天養萬物,一切其實無須擔心。


一個人性格不改,煩惱將無窮無盡。
每封信都代表一份緣的傳遞.......
看信是一種幸福、它代表你有空閒..
沒空看信也是一種幸福
它代表你有比看信更重要的事忙著..

TAXI

Beautiful story
Hope you love it like I do. Treat all fellow humans with kindness, and you shall have piece all around.


I arrived at the address where someone had requested a taxi. I honked but no one came out. I honked again, nothing. So I walked to the door and knocked. 'Just a minute', answered a frail, elderly voice. I could hear something being dragged across the floor.

After a long pause, the door opened. A small woman in her 90's stood before me. She was wearing a print dress and a pillbox hat with a veil pinned on it, like somebody out of a 1940s movie.

By her side was a small nylon suitcase. The apartment looked as if no one had lived in it for years. All the furniture was covered with sheets..

There were no clocks on the walls, no knickknacks or utensils on the counters. In the corner was a cardboard box filled with photos and glassware.

'Would you carry my bag out to the car?' she said. I took the suitcase to the cab, and then returned to assist the woman.

She took my arm and we walked slowly toward the curb.

She kept thanking me for my kindness. 'It's nothing', I told her. 'I just try to treat my passengers the way I would want my mother treated'..

'Oh, you're such a good boy', she said. When we got in the cab, she gave me an address, and then asked, 'Could you drive through downtown?'

'It's not the shortest way,' I answered quickly.

'Oh, I don't mind,' she said. 'I'm in no hurry. I'm on my way to a hospice'.

I looked in the rear-view mirror. Her eyes were glistening. 'I don't have any family left,' she continued. 'The doctor says I don't have very long.' I quietly reached over and shut off the meter.

'What route would you like me to take?' I asked.

For the next two hours, we drove through the city. She showed me the building where she had once worked as an elevator operator.

We drove through the neighborhood where she and her husband had lived when they were newlyweds. She had me pull up in front of a furniture warehouse that had once been a ballroom where she had gone dancing as a girl.

Sometimes she'd ask me to slow in front of a particular building or corner and would sit staring into the darkness, saying nothing.

As the first hint of sun was creasing the horizon, she suddenly said, 'I'm tired. Let's go now'

We drove in silence to the address she had given me. It was a low building, like a small convalescent home, with a driveway that passed under a portico.

Two orderlies came out to the cab as soon as we pulled up. They were solicitous and intent, watching her every move. They must have been expecting her.

I opened the trunk and took the small suitcase to the door. The woman was already seated in a wheelchair.

'How much do I owe you?' she asked, reaching into her purse.

'Nothing,' I said

'You have to make a living,' she answered.

'There are other passengers,' I responded.

Almost without thinking, I bent and gave her a hug. She held onto me tightly.

'You gave an old woman a little moment of joy,' she said.

'Thank you.'

I squeezed her hand, and then walked into the dim morning light. Behind me, a door shut. It was the sound of the closing of a life.

I didn't pick up any more passengers that shift. I drove aimlessly lost in thought. For the rest of that day, I could hardly talk. What if that woman had gotten an angry driver, or one who was impatient to end his shift?

What if I had refused to take the run, or had honked once, then driven away?

On a quick review, I don't think that I have done anything more important in my life.

We're conditioned to think that our lives revolve around great moments.

But great moments often catch us unaware-beautifully wrapped in what others may consider a small one.

PEOPLE MAY NOT REMEMBER EXACTLY WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU SAID, BUT THEY WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL.

You won't get any big surprise in 10 days if you send this to ten people. But, you might help make the world a little kinder and more compassionate by sending it on.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

感冒多喝水卻很少尿尿 一定一定要看

女生要注意,男生要給你的女伴看!身體健康很重要!

希望大家都能注意自己身體細微的變化!如果感冒多喝水卻很少尿尿一定要有警覺心,因為腎臟的神經很大條很粗心不會警告你,事業誠可貴健康價更高!

俗話說經一事長一智,不過我寧可沒經歷這件事, 不論你多忙,請你看完這個正在發生的事.....
〝感冒〞讓我的一個好同事(其實可以說是好朋友),現年26歲,在耶誕節那天住進醫院的加護病房直到今天 (12/28)都沒出來。

她,一個花樣年華的女孩子,才26歲,前幾天不舒服,講話有鼻音,告訴我們她應該感冒了,她媽媽叫她去看醫生,她說她自已多喝開水就好了,過了兩天,實在很不舒服才去看醫生,開始服葯, 起初有好一點,但是她告訴媽媽每天喝很多水,可是排尿很少,也沒在意,但是很容易疲倦,這樣大約過了三四天,她在12/22還活蹦亂跳的和我們一起參加公司尾牙,12/23還和朋友一起出外遊玩;

12/24早上就沒起床過一直在睡覺,她媽媽問她,她說應該是〝感冒〞很累要睡覺就這樣,一直到12/25早上她媽媽說,已經睡一整天了該起來看看吃點東西服葯,結果她才發覺自已根本站不住,而且腹痛緊急送往醫院,直接送入加護病房檢查原因,原先醫院推測是腹膜炎要緊急動手術,但經過胃腸科主治醫生初步檢查覺得不像,就去照超音波,發覺胃腸根本沒事,這才又找了婦產科醫生會診,又去照超音波,結果一樣檢查不出什麼問題。

過一夜12/26早上,她全身酸痛躺不住,坐著呼吸急促,緊急戴氧氣罩,醫院發覺她根本沒排過尿,這才找了腎臟科醫生會診,腎臟科醫生一檢查,從她臉上出現二個紅點,及一直沒排尿,推測是急性敗血症引發急性腎衰竭,但還不能確定,所以抽血去檢驗, 另外,培養她體內的細菌,看是哪一種細菌這樣厲害,但是抽血檢驗要下午才會有結果,培養細菌要三天才會有結果,腎臟科醫師推測是一種名為葛蘭氏,(我不知道字對不對,這個譯音是來自醫生口中)細菌的頑強細菌進入血液中直接破壞血小板才會是目前的病狀,建議醫院使用專門針對葛蘭氏細菌的抗生素為她注射,(一直到此時醫院還是用一般的抗生素注射,因為沒查出病因,無法對症下葯!), 但是,一直到12/26中午,我去加護病房看她時,剛好遇到腎臟科醫師門診完來看她,但我已看到 手肘靠著床邊的部份已立即出現了淤血且變黑,因為無法排尿而產生的水腫,這位醫師隨即問了我的身份後,要找她的父母說明病情,我及她的父母才在這位好心的醫師詳細解說下,瞭解她的病況己到了危及生命的階段,急性敗血症己經引發了第一項併發症──急性腎衰竭, 目前臉上的紅點及手肘的淤血都是急性敗血症的徵兆,目前已出現了呼吸急促的病狀,接下來可能會引發腦部缺氧而無法呼吸!

正式宣佈有三天的危險期,並且立即安排洗腎,清除腎臟內的積水。

今天12/27中午我眼看她,加護病房內的她插入鼻管,管內都是血,我還要強忍著眼淚,告訴她,嗨!今天看起來氣色好多了, 躺著沒問題、可以睡的著就好了,明後天開始好好補補又可以一起上班了,出去問了她媽媽,才知道今早併發了胃出血,緊急插管抽血 ......... 她媽媽對著我一直掉眼淚說:我祇要她能好,我怎樣都沒關係...


我要奉勸各位好朋友一些事,這是那位好心醫生的提醒:

每天在我們身邊都有很多細菌,〝感冒〞祇是你的身體提醒你,免疫系統受到傷害,有任何症狀都要一五一十告訴醫生,好讓醫生能研判確實的病情!


另外,建議女性朋友們:

上洗手間前後都要洗手!以免細菌經由尿道進入身體破壞我們的血液組織,引發如此嚴重後果,還有不要諱疾忌醫!畢竟,生命是我們自己的!

Pigs' feet: the new superfood

As Britain's spending on cosmetic surgery soars, Fiona MacDonald Smith suggests it's time that we chopped and changed our diet instead.

The latest anti-ageing food? Pigs' trotters. That's right, you heard it here first. In New York, the most talked-about new opening of the past couple of months has been a Japanese restaurant called Hakata Tonton, where 33 out of the 39 dishes contain pigs' feet.

The reason for this, according to its owner, Himi Okajima, is that they are rich in collagen, the protein responsible for skin and muscle tone, more recognizable to beauty addicts in the form of face creams and fillers..

"Collagen helps your body retain moisture," says Okajima, who has introduced a chain of restaurants specializing in collagen cuisine in Japan. "Your hair and skin will look better, but it's not just for looking beautiful now. If you begin eating collagen in your thirties, you will look younger in your forties.."

Maybe this sounds a little improbable ("It's news to me," sniffs Lisa Miles of the British Nutrition Foundation.. "I've certainly never heard of eating collagen." ) but Okajima believes he is on to something. Figures published last month show that British spending on cosmetic surgery is the highest in Europe, hitting nearly £500 million in 2006, four times more than in 2001.

Isn't there a cheaper solution? Couldn't eating the right foods, in the right way, be a simpler, and ultimately more long-term way to stay looking and feeling younger? "You are what you eat," says nutritional therapist Ian Marber, aka The Food Doctor.

"You can't turn the clock back but you can slow things down. Every cell replicates from RNA and DNA. In order to keep the DNA in good condition, you want to protect cells from harmful free radicals. And for this you need to eat fruit and vegetables, which contain vital anti-oxidants like vitamins A, C, E and zinc.

"It doesn't have to be expensive," he adds. "I know people go on about so-called 'superfoods' which have a greater concentration of anti-oxidants, but two apples a day will give you plenty of vitamins and fibre. You just need to ensure a varied diet."

"The key is to remember we're omnivorous," agrees nutritionist Christian Lee, who is the national trainer for the Dr Nicholas Perricone cosmetics and nutrition empire. "Have you ever noticed how women age more rapidly than men?

That's because they don't eat enough protein. The days you don't eat protein are the days you age. The body can't store protein, but it needs it for cellular production and function.

"At each meal you should be able to hold up three fingers and say 'I've got a good source of protein (lean fish or poultry, nuts, seeds or tofu); an essential fatty acid (Omega 3 or 6, so that's coldwater oily fish, flaxseeds, linseeds) and a low glycaemic carbohydrate (fruit, vegetables, and whole grains like quinoa, buckwheat and oatmeal)'. If you can say that, you're on the right road."

Perricone, a dermatologist, became America's most famous anti-ageing specialist with his "Three-Day Nutritional Face Lift", which extolled the virtues of eating wild Alaskan salmon twice a day, claiming its essential fatty acids would banish puffiness and tighten the skin. Uma Thurman, Heidi Klum and J-Lo are all fans.

In his new book Ageless Face, Ageless Mind, which has yet to reach the UK, Dr Perricone's team assert that up to 40 per cent of wrinkles are caused by dietary sugar.

"When you eat high glycaemic carbohydrates like bread, cakes and pasta, they turn into sugar in the blood so fast that the pancreas can't respond with enough insulin and the blood becomes saturated with sugar," argues Christian Lee. "The sugar needs to go somewhere so it attaches itself to the cell membranes.

When it does this to collagen molecules in the skin, it causes the collagen to become stiff and immobile and that's the birth of the wrinkle. The bad news is that it doesn't end there - the sugar then pumps out free radicals, causing a double whammy of damage.

The good news is you can prevent it - either by cutting out sugar or by taking a supplement of alpha lipoid acid, which is 400 times stronger than vitamin C and E combined."

So ditch the sugar, but don't forget the pigs' trotters.


FOODSTUFFS THAT KEEP YOU YOUNG

Spinach contains the pigment lutein, present in the retina, which helps maintain the health of the eye.

Tomatoes contain the anti-oxidant lycopene, which can protect the skin from UV damage from the sun.

Purple or red berries - such as blueberries, raspberries and strawberries - are full of anthocyanins which can help protect against diabetes, heart disease and cancer, and help maintain strong arteries.

Oily fish, such as fresh water salmon, herring, mackerel and sardines, and also flax seeds and linseeds, are the main source of omega-3 fatty acids, which can delay the ageing process of the skin.

Water: drinking more aids digestion and elimination; drinking too little can harm the complexion.


....AND SOME THAT AGE YOU

Carbonated drinks - along with tea, coffee, sugar, red meat and alcohol - can push the body's balance towards the acidic, meaning that alkaline minerals (such as calcium) are removed from bone stores to balance it, weakening the bones. Restricting them may help you keep stronger bones.

Nightshade vegetables - potatoes, tomatoes, chillies, aubergine and peppers - while often healthy in other respects, contain a chemical that studies suggest can activate pain and inflammation associated with arthritis. Avoiding these foods may help reduce it.

Refined carbohydrates - such as white bread, white rice, sugary cereals, pasta and noodles - contribute to the development of type II diabetes, which accelerates the ageing process and, if not controlled, can lead to a wide range of other health problems.
