4 TREASURES OF FOOD THAT SHOULD NOT BE IGNORD OR WASTED

When eating certain food, there are certain parts which seemingly are useless and should be thrown away. In reality, their nutritional value could be higher than the food itself. Check if you have unknowingly wasted these.


魚眼 Fish Eyes
Fish eyes, especially mackerel family, contains rich quantity of DHA and EPA which are very rare unsaturated fatty acid. The most beneficial property of these natural substances are their abilities to stimulate human brain cells, improve memory and thinking power, and also very helpful in preventing memory decline, high cholesterol and hypertension diseases. The common notion suggested that eating certain animal parts would strengthen similar body parts of ours, and this has also be proven correct by clinical experiment where fish eyes are concerned: They can help to reduce the deterioration of eyesight.


橘絡 Fibres of orange or grapefruit peels
When eating oranges or grapefruits, after removing the peels, do not remove all the fibres that stuck on the fruits. In fact, the fibres contained certain vitamin known as 路丁 [(English term?)], which helps to maintain the elasticity and density of the artery wall, which in turn reduces the danger of bleeding especially the fine arteries. Hypertension patients usually have problem of brain hemorrhage while diabetic patients retina hemorrhage. For people with tendency to bleed, especially old people with tendency of artery hardening, eating fibres of oranges and grapefruit peels is particularly helpful.


肉骨頭 Bones
The nutritional value of bones are higher than that of the meat. Comparing the nutritional values of Pork bones and pork, the bones contain far more protein, iron, sodium and calories than meat. Bones contain 23% more protein than milk powder, 61% more than beef, three time as much as pork and more than double that of eggs. It has abundance of essential minerals that human requires, like 磷脂質 that are needed by the brain, 磷蛋白, 蛋氨酸 for the liver, 氨基酸, vitamins A, B1 and B2, as well as 類粘朊 and 骨膠元 [bone gels?] that are useful for slowing the aging. The best part is, when boiled in soup, its nutrition become more readily absorbed by human body than plant-based food.


辣椒葉 chili leaves
Chili leaves contains complete range of 蛋白氨基酸 [amino acid ?]. almost 4 times compared to the chili fruits. It also contains more than double what chili fruits have of 元素硒 , which are anti-cancerous substance. On top of that, chili leaves are rich in calcium, beta carotene, various vitamins and other nutrients. Eating a suitable quantity of chili leaves enhances secretion of digestive juices, improves appetite and are good for indigestions, gastric and stomach discomfort. Regular intake of chili leaves also help in warming body, strengthen liver, improve eyesight, reduce weight and improve beauty. 我們不知道的蔬菜禁忌

● 1 金針菜
先泡兩小時煮熟進食。新鮮的金針菜,因含有「水仙鹼毒素」,生食會引起腹痛、腹瀉……等過敏症狀,故一定要先泡水兩小時,然後再用大火煮至熟透才可進食,隨意略炒就吃,很容易引發過敏。
鮮豔金黃色的乾金針菜,恐有硫磺加工,食後會造成食物中毒,故凡是乾金針菜最好能先用溫開水泡30分鐘,再入沸水中汆燙1分鐘,濾乾後再行煮食,比較安全。


● 2 茄子
經期及脾胃虛寒者別吃。茄子性涼滑,脾胃虛寒不宜多吃,婦女經期前後也要盡量少吃,過老熟的茄子食後會中毒,不可進食。茄子含有誘發過敏的成分,多吃會使人神經不安定,過敏體質者要避開勿吃。

● 3 芋頭
有痰、過敏體質者不宜。芋頭的黏液會刺激咽喉黏膜,可能使咳嗽加劇以及生痰更多,所以咳嗽有痰者不宜吃。芋頭獨特的黏液會使手掌紅腫發癢,但有效的藥用成分就在黏液上,故烹煮前不要故意洗掉黏液。但過敏體質者最好少吃。

●4 韭菜
性溫熱
酒後不要吃。韭菜屬於溫熱性,吃過量會神昏目眩,酒後尤其不可吃。患有風熱型感冒、上火發炎、麻疹、肺結核、便祕、痔瘡……等等病患,不宜進食。韭菜的纖維特粗,有消化道疾病或消化不良者,不可一次吃太多,否則會腹脹難過。


●5 菠菜
避免與高鈣食物同食。菠菜含有較多的草酸,很容易與高鈣食物同食後,形成草酸鈣造成結石,故菠菜要避免接觸豆腐、黑芝麻、優酪乳……等含鈣較高的食物,不要在一餐中或近時間內同時吃到,尤其是已患有結石的人,最好避開勿吃。

●6 白蘿蔔
慢性胃炎等患者要避食。白蘿蔔性寒涼,脾胃虛寒者、胃及十二指腸潰瘍、慢性胃炎、單純甲狀腺腫……等患者均不宜多食。白蘿蔔會影響中藥的藥效,特別是吃含有人參、何首烏、地黃……等中藥時,要避食白蘿蔔。

●7 山藥
婦科腫瘤者不宜再吃。山藥具有收斂的作用,便祕或排便不順者不可吃,否則便祕會更嚴重。山藥多吃會促進人體分泌賀爾蒙,對一般人有益,但婦科腫瘤(包括子宮、卵巢、乳房)者,以及男性攝護腺腫瘤者均不宜進食,否則會助長腫瘤。

●8 薑
薑一腐爛便要丟棄。生薑只要有一部分爛掉,便要整個丟棄,不可將爛掉部分切除,留下好的部分用,因當生薑腐爛時,薑體內便會產生很強的「黃樟素」,黃樟素吃進體內,會造成肝細胞病變,嚴重影響健康,故只要薑一有腐爛,便要丟棄,不要因小失大。

●9 馬鈴薯
發芽與綠皮馬鈴薯勿買。馬鈴薯發芽後會產生大量的「龍葵素」,尤其在芽眼周圍含量最高,馬鈴薯的表皮變綠,也含有龍葵素,切忌吃到含有「龍葵素」的馬鈴薯,否則會引發噁心、嘔吐、腹瀉、甚至昏迷,孕婦吃到則可能會流產,故凡是發芽與綠皮的馬鈴薯千萬不要買。

●10 蕃茄
未熟蕃茄含龍葵素。未熟的蕃茄含有大量的「龍葵素」,這是一種生物鹼,具有腐蝕性和溶血性,青蕃茄大量進食後,會造成急性食物中毒,引發咽喉麻癢、胃部灼痛、胃腸發炎等症狀,故番茄必須買熟透的、全紅的,比較安全。

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS


1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level. This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating

It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation

Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping

Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.



8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

洋蔥浸葡萄酒的驚人效果

洋葱是一般家庭普通的食物,用以炸、炒、煲汤都很可口,也可配以生果和蔬菜做沙律。没想到的是,洋葱原来还可以用作浸葡萄酒(红酒),更可治疗很多常见的病。

朋友回港时一酒商朋友介绍,当时半信半疑,因他是做法国红酒进口酒的生意,可能是为了推销他代理的红酒,但他却保证真的有这样的疗效,很多人都饮用,所以回到黄
金海岸,便开始浸了瓶来试试,也把这个信息带给和他有齐所有的病症,听后大家不禁哈哈大笑。心想不用花多少钱,不妨一试,果然不试尤可,一试其功效十分显着大加赞扬。因不用晚间上厕所,而且发觉浸了洋葱的红酒入口更醇,更易入口,今次饮过之后觉得效果甚佳,就将其公开给大家,希望人人健康。

材料:洋葱2个,红葡萄酒500毫升,1瓶普通红葡萄酒配三个洋葱。


制法:将洋葱洗净,去掉表面茶色外皮,切成八等份约半月形。将洋葱装入玻璃瓶内,加入红葡萄酒,(将剥下来的外皮也一起加入效果更好)。将玻璃瓶盖好密封,在阴凉地方放置约2至8日。(笔者觉得一星期最好)。

将玻璃瓶的洋葱片,用滤网过滤后,洋葱、酒分开装入瓶中,放置在冰箱中冷藏。

饮用方法:

一. 每日约一杯(50毫升),年纪大的人每次20毫升左右;

二. 每日饮一至两次;

三. 浸过酒的洋葱片一起食用更好;

四. 不喝酒的人,可用两倍左右的开水稀释后饮用或每次倒入电锅内煮约4至5分钟,蒸发酒精后饮用。

五. 若然喜欢甜的,可加入一点蜂蜜。

看到这里大家是否觉得很容易呢?究竟又可以治那些病呢?

让笔者告诉大家,其功效对膝盖疼痛、白内障、老人痴呆的效果相当惊人,日本非常流行。

一. 高血压的患者,饮了之后血压正常且安定,也会降低糖尿值,把血糖下降。


二. 最妙的是对老花眼也有很大的改善,饮用之后不用戴眼镜也可以阅读一般的周刊、杂志。

三. 每晚都要去几次厕所的夜晚频尿症,喝了两天之后,不可思议的完全恢复正常。


四. 每天夜里醒来,一直到天亮都不能再入睡的,不食安眠药不能入睡的不眠症,饮用之后也会全消除。

五. 眼睛疲劳和模糊不清,喝了之后第二天就没有问题了。

六. 对几乎无法治疗的白尿症,尿会混浊的喝了之后的也变得接近透明。

七. 经常肚子会胀,非常痛苦的便秘症,喝了之后第二天便恢复正常排便。


以上这么多的功效,如果你的年龄在中年以上者一定适合,花钱不多,有益且功效显著,不妨一试。

家庭主妇不爱用洋葱做菜,处理时会让人流眼泪,很多人也怕洋葱味。除非是手艺高超的洋葱料理,否则真的很难找到洋葱的热爱者。但是想要让自己骨骼结实、身体长得高、预防骨质酥松症的人,最好还是乖乖地捏着鼻子吃洋葱吧。因为权威期刊"自然"的最新研究报告指出,洋葱是最能够防止骨质流失的一种蔬菜。洋葱预防骨质流失的效果,甚至比骨质酥松症治疗药品"calcitonin"还要好。

研究人员让雄性大白鼠每天吃一公克干洋葱,连续四周后,公白鼠的骨质平均增加了13.5-18%。另一组实验则发现,让大白鼠食用含有洋葱的混合蔬菜,也能够减少骨质流失问题。第三组实验则是让摘除卵巢的雌性大白鼠每天吃1.5公克的洋葱,结果骨质流失的速率减少了25%。更值得注意的是,洋葱的保健功效在短短12小时内就看得到了。

研究人员认为,洋葱的效果可能来自于"预防骨质流失",因此想要利用洋葱保健的人,每天可能要吃上200-300公克(10盎司)的洋葱,才能够预防骨质酥松症。

【洋葱可以治疗糖尿病】

很久以前,洋葱就被用来治疗糖尿病,到了现代,医学也证明洋葱确实能够降血糖;而且不论生食或熟食,都同样有效果。原来洋葱里有一种抗糖尿病的化合物,类似常用的口服降血糖剂甲磺丁胺,具有刺激胰岛素合成及释放的作用。

The main causes of liver damage

The main causes of liver damage are:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.

2. Not urinating in the morning.

3. Too much eating.

4. Skipping breakfast.

5. Consuming too much medication.

6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.

7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.

8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.

Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

黑糖薑茶

小時候,著了涼,一流鼻涕,母親就連忙用老薑加黑糖煮成薑湯給我喝。甜甜辣辣的,趁熱大口大口喝下去,再蓋著被子發一場汗,感冒便不藥而癒!我因生產多又密集,一年一個,有一年還生了一對雙包胎,把身體弄壞了。平常經常頭昏眼花,而每個月好朋友來了,頭痛、肚子痛,量又多一拖就是十天半個月。看了許多中西名醫,均束手無策。病看不好,花錢受罪,一氣之下,乾脆不理他了。

後來祖母教我在月經來時,不妨用黑糖和老薑煮水喝喝看,她特別強調多喝無害,黑糖能活血,薑是熱性的食物,在故鄉,婦女做月子都要吃些黑糖。老奶奶的話姑且聽之,月經來時,就猛喝黑糖和老薑煮的薑茶,想不到,小腹慢慢不痛了。好朋友量也少了,當然頭痛也消失了,比吃藥還有效呢!黑糖和老薑不但能治病,在寒冷的冬天喝上一碗,渾身冒汗、舒暢無比,這種偏方花錢少,又無副作用,何妨試試!

Almonds

Also, one serving of almonds provides half of your body's Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) of vitamin E.

Wheat germ

Garlic: Garlic is very effective in lowering blood pressure. Take 2-3 raw garlic cloves a day. It slows down the pulse rate and relieves the symptoms of dizziness, numbness and shortness of breath and formation of gas within the digestive system.

Indian Gooseberry: Indian gooseberry is also very effective in controlling high blood pressure.

Lemon: Lemon is also very effective food in controlling high blood pressure. It helps in maintaining capillary fragility.

Grapefruit: Grapefruit is useful in preventing high blood pressure.

Watermelon: Watermelon also safeguards against high blood pressure. The seeds of watermelon also can be dried and roasted and taken in liberal amounts.

Rice: Rice is low-fat, low-cholesterol and low-salt content is very good for people suffering from high B.P. who have been advised salt-restricted diet. Particularly brown rice having calcium soothes and relaxes the nervous system and helps relieve High B.P symptoms.

Potato: Boiled potatoes are very valuable in lowering high B.P. Boiled potatoes absorb very little salt and thus are very useful. Potatoes are rich in Potassium and not sodium salts and magnesium present in potato is also beneficial.

Parsley: Parsley is very useful in high blood pressure.. It helps maintain the blood vessels. Parsley can be taken as a beverage by simmering 20gms of fresh parsley leaves gently in 250 ml of water for a few minutes. Drink this several times a day.

Vegetable Juice: Raw vegetable juices, especially carrot and spinach juices, taken separately or in combination, are also beneficial in the treatment of high B.P. If taken in combination, 300 ml of carrot juice and 200 ml of spinach juice should be mixed to make 500 ml and taken daily. If taken separately, one glass should be taken twice daily, morning and evening.


Cut down on these: Cut down on salt, cholesterol, fat, tea, coffee and alcohol intake to keep a tab on high blood pressure.

Don't repress your feelings: Don't repress your feelings, talk about them to friends and exercise regularly.

神造人时给人体许多巧妙的安排,从身体的很多方面,我们都可以观察出自己健康的状况。只是很多时候我们都忽略了,现在让我们一起来看看,有哪些是你从来不知道的。

总之,要有健康的身体,自己要做自己第一个医生,第一号的观察照顾者,这样才能健康又快乐。


1. 冒痘痘的位置与健康讯息

· 额头
- 代表心火旺、血液循环有问题,可能是过于劳心伤神。这类的人脾气较不好,应养成早睡早起的习惯,睡眠充足,并多喝水。

· 鼻子
- 如果长在鼻梁,代表脊椎骨可能出现问题;如果是长在鼻头处,可能是胃火大、消化系统异常;若在鼻头两侧,就可能跟卵巢机能或生殖系统有关。

· 下巴
- 表示肾功能受损或内分泌系统失调。女生容易在下巴周围长痘痘,可能是月事不顺所引起的。

· 左边脸颊
- 可能是肝功能不顺畅,如肝脏的分泌、解毒或造血等功能出了状况。

· 右边脸颊
- 可能是肺部功能失常。


2. 如何检视指甲的健康

· 指甲色泽
- 通常是淡粉红色,但若太常使用指甲油、去光水,也会使指甲变黄。

· 指甲的韧度
- 用其他手指按压指甲尖端,若能略为弯曲表示硬度刚好,若太软也表示指甲不健康。

· 指甲板是否光滑
- 有时从侧面观看会发现沟痕,那就要多滋养指甲,让情况改善。

· 周围皮肤
- 指甲周围皮肤若是过于干燥、粗糙,就要利用按摩与保养,改善情况。

· 指甲过白
- 慢性贫血或肝、肾有问题。

· 白斑
- 缺乏锌,可由海产类、菠菜、菇类、五谷类、葵瓜子等摄取补充。

· 容易破裂
- 缺乏铁质,可由深绿色叶菜类、鱼类、豆类、五 类等补充。

· 指甲过黄
- 缺乏维他命E,也可能是淋巴系统、呼吸系统有问题。维他命E可由深绿色蔬菜、水果中摄取。

· 凹凸不平
- 若还有出现一条条的条纹,可能是肝不好。


4. 如何从唇色 观察健康状况

· 唇色苍白
- 若指甲、眼睑也苍白,可能有贫血。

· 唇色青紫
- 若非因为气温过于寒冷,有可能是有贫血、心脏方面问题。

· 唇色淡黄
- 若脸色、眼白一样呈黄色,可能是肝功能不好。

· 唇色红紫
- 若非发烧或一氧化碳中毒,就可能有心脏病、肺病、心脏衰弱等问题。


5. 从排泄物看健康

· 份量
- 每次以两三条为适量。

· 形状
- 直径两三公分的条状为佳,过软或呈颗粒状则表示肠子有老化状况。

· 气味
- 正常者应没有强烈的味道,若有□臭味、焦臭味、腐败味,则是有肠老化现象。

· 颜色
- 黄色为正常,颜色愈深表示肠老化状态愈严重。

· 硬度
- 排便时若无压迫感或泻肚子状态则为正常。


6. 生理时钟表

· 午夜 12:00 ~ 1:00 (浅眠期)
- 多梦而敏感,身体不适者易在此时痛醒。

· 凌晨 1:00 ~ 2:00 (排毒期)
- 此时肝脏为排除毒素而活动旺盛,应让身体进入睡眠状态,让肝脏得以完成代谢废物。

· 凌晨 3:00 ~ 4:00 (休眠期)
- 重症病人最易发病的时刻,常有患病者在此时死亡,熬夜最好勿超过这个时间。

· 上午 9:00 ~ 11:00 (精华期)
- 此时为注意力及记忆力最好,且工作与学习的最佳时段。

· 中午 12:00 ~ 1:00 (午休期)
- 最好静坐或闭目休息一下再进餐,正午不可饮酒,易醉又伤肝哦!

· 下午 2:00 ~ 3:00 (高峰期)
- 是分析力和创造力得以发挥淋漓的极致时段!

· 下午 4:00 ~ 5:00 (低潮期)
- 体力耗弱的阶段,最好补充水果来解馋,避免因饥饿而贪食致肥胖。

· 下午 5:00 ~ 6:00 (松散期)
- 此时血糖略增,嗅觉与味觉最敏感,不妨准备晚膳来提振精神。

· 晚上 7:00 ~ 8:00 (暂憩期)
- 最好能在饭后 30 分钟去散个步或沐浴,放松一下,纾解一日的疲倦困顿。

· 晚上 8:00 ~ 10:00 (夜修期)
- 此为晚上活动的巅峰时段,建议您善用此时进行商议,进修等 要思虑周密的活动。

· 晚上 11:00 ~ 12:00 (夜眠期)
- 经过镇日忙碌,此时应该放松心情进入梦乡,千万别让身体过度负荷,那可得不偿失哦!

How to stop cough in 5 minutes!!!

This is a must try….

We have all been kept awake by our own or someone else’s cough. Try this and pass it on. The tip and not the cough. ANYTHING is better than antibiotics. Even babies could benefit from this and the parents wouldn’t worry about the safety of their child. And of course, it is harmless and free from any type of side-effects.

WOW! I was raised, and raised my kids with Vicks. How come I never knew this? I can’t wait for my next cough. Amazing!

READ IT ALL. It works 100 percent of the time, although the scientists at the Canada Research council (who discovered it) aren’t sure why.

Treatment:
To stop night time coughing in a child (or an adult, as we found out personally), put Vicks Vapor Rub generously on the bottom of the feet at bedtime and then cover with socks.

Even persistent, heavy, deep coughing will stop in about five minutes and stay stopped for many, many hours of relief. This works 100 percent of the time, and is more effective in children than even very strong prescription cough medicines. In addition it is extremely soothing and comforting and they will sleep soundly. I heard the head of the Canada Research Council describe these findings on the part of their scientists when they were investigating the effectiveness and usage of prescription cough medicines in children, as compared to alternative therapies like acupressure. I just happened to tune in to a.m. Radio and picked up this guy talking about why cough medicines in kids often do more harm than good due to the chemical makeup of these strong drugs, so I listened. It was a surprising finding and found to be more effective than prescribed medicines for children at bedtime, and in addition to have a soothing and calming effect on sick children who then went on to sleep soundly.

My friend tried it on herself when she had a very deep constant and persistent cough a few weeks ago, and it worked 100 percent! She said it felt like a warm blanket had enveloped her. The coughing stopped in a few minutes, and believe me this was a deep (incredibly annoying!) every few seconds, uncontrollable cough and she slept cough-free for hours every night she used it.

If you have children or grandchildren, pass it on. If you end up sick, try it yourself and you will be absolutely amazed.
